How long does it take to assemble my Rad Power Bike?
Most of our e-bikes arrive 85% pre-assembled. With the included tool kit and our step-by-step assembly videos, most riders are ready to hit the road in 45 to 60 minutes.
What is the range of a single battery charge?
Depending on the model, rider weight, and level of pedal assist used, you can expect a range of 25 to 45+ miles per charge.
Can I ride my electric bike in the rain?
Yes, our bikes are designed with water-resistant components. While they can handle rain and splashes, they should never be submerged in water or cleaned with a high-pressure power washer.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day trial period. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return your bike in like-new condition with less than 10 miles on the odometer for a refund, minus applicable shipping and restocking fees.
Do I need a special license or insurance to ride?
In most regions, our e-bikes are classified as low-speed electric bicycles and do not require a driver's license, registration, or insurance. However, we always recommend checking your local state and municipal laws.
How do I maintain my e-bike's battery health?
To maximize battery life, store your battery in a cool, dry place and avoid leaving it at 0% or 100% charge for extended periods. We recommend keeping it between 20% and 80% if storing it for more than two weeks.
